Complete Tear-Off
We strip the old roof down to the decking so nothing is buried under a new layer, then inspect and repair the wood underneath before anything goes back on.
Roof Replacement in Central Ohio
Roof replacement is the right call once a roof is past patching, and what you want then is one that lasts rather than the cheapest bid that leaks again in two years. Our own licensed Columbus crews tear off the old roof, fix what is underneath, and install a complete Owens Corning system. Veteran-owned, fully licensed, and we never hand your home to unlicensed subcontractors.
We Start With the Truth
Replacing a roof is one of the largest home projects most people ever pay for, and the pressure to just pick a number and sign is real. The trouble is that a cheap tear-off usually means corners cut where you cannot see them, on the decking, the underlayment, and the flashing that actually keeps water out. We start by telling you honestly whether you truly need a full replacement, then we show you exactly what goes on your roof and why.
What We Do
We strip the old roof down to the decking so nothing is buried under a new layer, then inspect and repair the wood underneath before anything goes back on.
Shingles, underlayment, ice-and-water barrier, ventilation, and flashing installed together as one engineered system built for Ohio weather.
A documented inspection with photos so you can see for yourself why replacement is the right call, not just take our word for it.
If a storm totaled your roof, we document the damage properly and work directly with your insurer.

Materials
As an Owens Corning Preferred contractor, we install your roof as one engineered system rather than a pile of mismatched parts. Every layer has a job, and they only protect your home when they are installed together and installed right.
What It Costs
Nobody can quote a roof from a zip code, but you are entitled to know what moves the number before anyone stands on your house. These are the four things that decide it.
More detail on the manufacturers we install, and what the certifications actually mean, is on our roofing brands page.
A square is a ten by ten foot area, one hundred square feet of roof. Estimates and material orders are counted in squares, so a bigger roof simply costs more, and a sprawling ranch and a steep two story with the same floor area are not the same job.
What moves the number beyond size is the shingle grade you pick, the condition of the decking underneath, the number of roof penetrations, and the pitch. Cut up roofs with dormers and multiple planes take longer and use more material at every edge.
A standard Central Ohio replacement is a tear off and install in a single day, with larger, steeper or more complex roofs running longer. We tell you which one yours is before we schedule it.
We install complete Owens Corning systems as our standard, and as an Owens Corning Preferred contractor we can register the enhanced system warranty on a full replacement. We cannot register it on a partial, which is one honest reason a full replacement sometimes wins.

Questions, Answered
If your roof is near the end of its life, has widespread shingle loss, or has damage across several areas rather than one spot, replacement is usually the honest answer. Our inspection tells you which one you actually need, in writing.
We tear off the old roof down to the decking. Shingling over an old roof hides rotten wood and shortens the life of the new one, so we do not do it.
Most homes are completed in a day or two, weather permitting. We give you a clear schedule before we start and keep the site clean each day.
Yes. We document the storm and hail damage properly and deal directly with your adjuster so you are not fighting the claim on your own.
Your roof is only ever installed by our own licensed, in-house crews. We never hand the work to unlicensed subcontractors.
Yes, 10% off for active and veteran service members, seniors, and first responders.
It is priced by the square, and the honest drivers are size, pitch, shingle grade, the condition of the decking and the number of penetrations. We give you a written quote before we start and the price does not move unless the decking underneath turns out to be bad, which we show you before we touch it.
We offer financing options when they fit the project, plus a ten percent discount for service members, veterans, seniors and first responders. Estimates are free and written.
Sometimes. If the rest of the roof has real service life left and the sightlines work, we will quote the section and say so. The trade off is color match and the fact that the enhanced system warranty is only registrable on a full replacement.
